This Acceptable Use Policy governs use of the eventOS platform operated by DZND Limited (RC 9483106). It forms part of the Organiser Terms of Service and also applies to attendees, door-staff, and anyone else who uses eventOS. Breaching it may result in content removal, settlement being withheld or reversed (via Paystack), and suspension or termination of accounts.

1. Prohibited events, goods and services

You must not use eventOS to sell tickets to, promote, or facilitate:

anything illegal under Nigerian law, or that facilitates illegal activity;
fraudulent, deceptive, or "ghost" events — events you do not intend or are not able to hold, or listings with false material information;
weapons, ammunition, explosives, or regulated dangerous items;
controlled or illegal drugs, or drug paraphernalia;
counterfeit, stolen, or IP-infringing goods, or unlicensed use of others' brands, artwork, music or content;
events promoting terrorism, violence, hatred, or unlawful discrimination on the basis of a protected characteristic;
sexual exploitation, or any content or activity involving the unlawful involvement of minors;
gambling or lotteries that are not properly licensed;
pyramid, Ponzi, or "get-rich-quick" schemes, or unregistered investment offerings;
anything on Paystack's prohibited-and-restricted-business list, since settlement depends on Paystack.

2. Prohibited conduct on the platform

You must not:

misuse, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform, or breach or circumvent its security, authentication, rate limits, or access controls;
access data or accounts that are not yours, or attempt to (no IDOR/enumeration);
remove, disable, obscure, or tamper with the "Powered by eventOS" attribution or the QR-redirect admission mechanism;
duplicate, forge, resell fraudulently, or manipulate tickets, QR codes, or admission records;
scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data except through features provided for that purpose;
upload malware, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing;
use the messaging tools to send spam or unlawful marketing, or to message people who have opted out or for whom you have no lawful basis;
impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
use the Platform to launder money, evade sanctions, or evade platform fees;
interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.

2.1 Community groups and other attendees

Where community features are enabled, you must not:

harass, threaten, stalk, bully or intimidate another attendee, on or off the Platform, including following someone between groups or events after being asked to stop or after being blocked;
post another person's private information (address, phone number, email, workplace, financial details, government identifiers) without their consent — "doxxing";
use groups, invite links, roll-call responses or attendance signals to track, monitor or locate another person, or to infer or publicise where an individual will be;
circumvent a block or a removal from a group — including by creating another account, or obtaining a fresh invite link, to reach someone who has blocked or removed you;
attempt to enumerate, guess or brute-force invite links or group identifiers, or to bulk-join groups you were not invited to;
collect, index or republish other attendees' names, group membership or attendance signals;
post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, hate speech, incitement to violence, or content promoting self-harm;
use group sharing to distribute spam, scams, phishing links, or tickets from outside the Platform.

Group owners are responsible for the groups they run and must remove content and members that breach this AUP.

2.2 AI features

Where AI features are enabled, you must not:

attempt to make the AI assistant reveal data belonging to another person, or to bypass its account scoping, tooling limits or safety instructions (including prompt-injection attempts);
use the assistant to generate unlawful, harassing, deceptive or infringing content, or content presented as coming from eventOS, an Organiser, or a regulator;
use automated means to drive AI features, resell or redistribute access to them, or use them to build or train a competing model;
rely on AI output as authoritative for admission, refunds or legal obligations — it is informational only.

Organisers using AI drafting tools remain responsible for reviewing and correcting any AI-generated event description, marketing copy or report before publishing or sending it.

3. Content standards

Content you upload must be accurate, lawful, non-infringing, and appropriate. DZND may remove content that breaches this AUP or the law, and may preserve records as required.

4. Enforcement

DZND may investigate suspected breaches and take proportionate action, including warning, content removal, feature restriction, withholding or reversing settlement (through Paystack), and suspending or terminating accounts — immediately where necessary to protect attendees, third parties, Paystack, or the Platform. Serious matters may be reported to Paystack, regulators, or law-enforcement.

Report suspected abuse, fraudulent events, or security issues to support@dznd.studio (or security@dznd.studio for vulnerabilities).
